Recently obtained a new desktop computer to control my CNC. I’m getting a 9030 SPINDLE FAULT! error after going through the setup process, using the PC tuner, applying the default avid CNC profile, license, and acorn wizard. Everything was operating fine before the PC swap and no physical connections have been changed on the CNC itself. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is this a stepper or a servo machine? I’m going to assume stepper… if I am correct go into the wizard and go to “warnings and defaults” and disable “warn me about spindle faults”

Alternatively you can make sure your spindle VFD is reprogrammed so that it can send faults to the controller. We have some instructions for that
