A while ago there was a topic, that I can’t currently find, that was asking if there was a way to clear the current program with a button. At the time the consensus was that it wasn’t possible.

It turns out that it can be done by writing a stand alone app that uses the Centroid API. The down side is that you have to build/start a standalone app. The upside is that you have much greater control over the display.

Right now I have been extensively modifying some of the macros. I use the auxiliary display app, to put up some debug state, and keep track of what tests I need to run and document the result. Its not really in a state where I can share.

Eventually I will probably go with a second monitor to display this.

If there is enough interest I will clean it up a bit for public consumption and put it up on github.
