My new ATC setup is up and running. I made my own tool rack because I needed the back of my machine clear, so I couldn’t use the AVID retractable rack. However, the software works great for my configuration as well.
Very cool. I’m guessing the folks at Avid put together a custom quote for all the pieces and parts since those items aren’t offered Ala carte yet..? I’m trying to sort out how I want to configure my ATC… I’ve got quite a few persnickety parameters I need to pay attention to for my workflow.
Yep, one of my favorite things about AVID is you can order whatever parts you need to go offroad a little. I got the auxbox, some extra tool holders, and the black plastic bin pockets from them. I already had the spindle. I also ordered the bin calibration caps and the air blast and tool presence sensor. If I had room for a bigger machine, I would have just gotten the full system…If only my wife would agree to park her car outside
