# How hard is it to relocate one of the 4x4 machines

I am looking for a new 4x4 cnc machine but anticipate that I will be moving within a year or two. If I purchase now I will have to move it later. I would need to take through a few doors and up a flight of steps. How hard would it be to do something like that?

You can brake it down into manageable chunks pretty easily.

I’d take the gantry off, and the legs off. That way you could tilt the table up and get it through a people door, along with the gantry.

That’s a 4x4’s gantry in the back of that Subaru. A 4x4 water table on the roof, and the pre-assembled legs tucked in there.
