# Plasma torch crash or activated ...emergency stop detected?

Hello

If for any reason I send my torch into the material…and if I try to reset it …

I see the msg emergency stop detected…is there a reason for this or how can I avoid this…

I think because of this…I need to rehome…everytime.

Since the install of cnc12 I haven’t used the emergency stop lol.
