# Sculpted chair seat prototype

I’ve been working on the design and CAM for this off and on for months. Various prototyping prior to ATC. Learned a lot about the design, cam, and the machine. Used many of the solid and surface functions in fusion, so many iterations on cam and tooling, cutting prototypes pre-ATC. On the machine side, got the machine square dialed in, 2-sided milling, working with multiple WCS, etc… Used 8 of the 10 ATC tools as well 🙂

I was super happy that the two-sided reference worked so well. The tool-height setter is a nice addition.

Now to figure out if I go all in on wood or finish recking these bits in old spoilboard to build out the prototype. I may have to ease up on some of the more aggressive cuts for the walnut.
