# Set the Laser Z Axis

How do you set the Z height for the laser? I have done the calibrations but I could not figure out the correct procedure to the set the Z axis for different thickneses of material.

If you have a 45 watt laser the setup is almost identical to that video. You just need to use the little calibration block that came with the laser if you have the 45
