I believe that within every person there is potential for more creativity and value than we can measure. And I have to think the same applies to myself.
It is interesting how we all find our escapes from the daily grind of life with sports, gardening, cars, travel, and other recreational activities. For many years I have found my escape from the office grind by going into the garage and making something with my own hands. This has lead us to having a few sayings in our family such as “every project deserves a new tool” and “no project goes unpunished”. This has lead to a garage full of tools and scars on every finger. Recently my son gave me a t-shirt that says “I can’t, I have plans, in the garage”.
Over the years many people have told me that I should sell some of the things that I make. Maybe it is time that I try out this entrepreneur thing. If I can make a few people happy, make a little for myself, and get to know more people along the way we will all benefit. Let’s see what happens.
