Retired with a maker/hobby machine and fabrication shop. I currently do not have any CNC controlled equipment. All Manual old American Iron. I work mostly with metal. I would someday like to have a 3-axis machine capable of milling metal.

I am competent in Fusion 360 which I use for my design use. I think my first CNC machine might be a laser based cutting table. Maybe 4’ x 4’ as I dont have unlimited shop space. I’ll probably look at sourcing parts and building my machine.

So, I have a lot of research and learning to do before that project begins.

Hope to learn from all of you and hopefully be able to share some knowledge back.

Unfortunately at this point I dont have much to share on the CNC front.
