By training/trade, I am an EE specializing in video processing FPGA designs for private and corporate aircraft. (color space conversions, scaling, real time encryption, 4K/8K work, SDI, HDMI, etc) I have been a lifelong machinist / maker. I got my feet wet with CNC in the late 80’s and love it. Built my first plotter from the ground up in '88 and my first CNC in '91. I have a serious robotics hobby and CNC machining / maker aspects all apply there as well.
