Grampiswoodshop

My name is Steve. Woodworking has been a hobby to me for most of my life. Whenever a family member or friend needed a project completed, they came to me. Then 5 years ago, I injured myself at work, I was forced into retirement due to some disabilities.

At that time, I turned back to creating, and a bunch of woodworking machinery from an estate sale. I set up my shop in my 20 x 20 garage, in Ocala, Florida. With the addition of an Avid Pro 4848 CNC, gifted to me by the Katz Moses Woodworkers With Disabilities Fund my daughter said I should brand myself to supplement my income and share my knowledge with others, so Gramp’s Woodshop was born in 2023.

Grampi was what we called my grandfather, so when my grandchildren were born, that is what they called me as well.

I am 58 and married to my wife of 31 years and have a son in the USAF, Daughter retired from the USN, and 3 grandchildren. I did not serve due to a health condition when I was younger.

My plan for the future is to create lots of projects, learn content creation, and share what I know and learn with others.
