Hadn’t touched cables in a while and, like a dummy, I pulled too hard and unseated a connector. These are avid nema 34 CNC motor cables. The left/top is good. I need to twist the pins in the right/ bottom one to match. I can twist the white part that inserts into the pin end but that didn’t move the pins (looking at the alignment in the end of the connector). Anyone know a trick to getting this done without destroying the cable?
Can you just re-tighten the black part?
I’m not clear on what’s happening here… did the pins come out?
The pins are retracted and rotated about 180 degrees from where they need to be. I need to rotate then push them further toward the end of the connector
I bet you would be able to rotate them back and then tighten that collar back down
