Eric, would the Acorn 6 been a better board to use since it has 16 relays and of course 6 axis support. Then we could have true 4th axis milling. I realized the other day that the spindle cooling fan is also controlled by the relays I don’t have. ANY ETA on the fix?
We looked at the Acorn 6. It’s a great board but it’s far more expensive than the Acorn. It’s also physically large and wouldn’t have fit in our control boxes. For ATC we are going a different (and cooler) route for IO expansion.
You do get true simultaneous 4 axis milling on the Acorn
