I have the 4896 with the standard gantry. I’m trying to laser something that is 4” tall and keep getting a Z axis limit.
I get z-axis limits quite often so I don’t know if this is just another false alarm? Or is 4” too tall?
It seems like I have enough clearance?
I think you are setting the XT8 to high. The distance is 21mm from the work piece to the bottom of the body (not the shield) of the laser. The measuring block should be on it’s side.
Also Maybe your rapid Z height is set to high in your design software.
