I checked all my connections to laser and control box have good air pressure power good
So the laser has never deployed for you?
No I never had the deployable laser working yet
So out in the shop today and playing with the air psi I got the laser to deploy, Went to set the Z and noticed my setup block was 35mm and 60mm ? set it to the 35mm for now, Then went to cal the x,y after my spindle marks the point and laser is set to deploy the laser never fires. I can test fire the laser fine. any ideas.
You should measure out that block with calipers and find the 21 mm side
If you have a 45 watt laser from us it should have come with a 21mm tall block. If it did not ou either need to make one or get in touch with is to send you one

Had bought the laser from optic then I bought the deployable option and EX controller from Avid

Ok, so you got the deploy from us but you bought the laser form Opt, that changes things a bit.
Sounds like it’s not fired once? We would need to dig into your wiring a bit to figure out what is going on. How did you wire it up? Did you follow a diagram?
So checked all the wiring per schematics, Get signal to deploy laser ,Have laser armed and light on laser and fan come on, then waiting for laser to fire and notice light on laser goes out and the armed light goes out and get a error on opt adapter. Not sure if there is a code on can get to tell what the error might be, It does test fire. What is the signal coming from the EX controller PMW is that a voltage or just a frequency ?
Which schematics did you use, ours or Opts? You’re going to need to wire per our schematics. Also your OPT controller may not be programmed correctly (we program ours before we send them out)
We output a PWM signal to the opt controller. That signal is only sent when the laser is deployed. It’s cut off when it’s not deployed.
