I just found my 4 HP (3 kW) Plug and Play Spindle has a broken cooling fan. anyone know how to get a replacement fan blades.
The original fans were defective. Send a note to AVID, they’ll send a replacement part and replacement procedure. Check to make sure the shroud wasn’t damaged too.

Just want to add that I was told this was permanently resolved a few years ago so only older 4HP spindles may be susceptible.
I bought my spindle in 2021. Never heard of a fan issue. Should have been a notice to owners of this so a repair could get done.
