I have a 60120 Combo Router/Plasma Cutter I’ve had a few years now and am finally ready to get the 4th Axis working full time. It’s worked before but I have manually had to switch the motor (factory configured the A axis) from the Plasma Z to the rotary every time and this annoys me.
The issue I’m having is I don’t see an easy way to configure the machine to recognize the new 4th axis motor (I have it assigned to Motor 6 in the ESS and machine setup) on a different axis other than A. B and C are available in the ESS configuration.
I’m assuming this is set in the “luaSelectTool” script on the Machine Setup tab for Mach4, but I can’t seem to find the uncompiled version of this script. That’s also where it describes how to switch around the A motor, which I am trying to eliminate.
Does anyone know anything about this or how I might go about changing that Axis assignment?
