The 8.7 HP Spindle has been replaced by a new 4Hp ATC spindle. The 8.7 HP Spindle was lightly used in my Hobby Shop. I think between 50 and 150 hours I just don’t use the machine much.

Ed - I am so sorry. I’m kind of new to Avid CnC’s so I wasn’t 100% sure what was included. Most of the ads I had seen showed both so I wasn’t sure about yours and I wasn’t sure the correct name of it. I guess I’m going to have to pass as I was kind of looking for that complete package where I could plug and play. I don’t even have an avid yet, but I thought if I found a good deal on a spindle I would buy it for the future. Again so sorry about that.
No problem it is a good deal. It cost me Over $3500. Yeah
Nate, I’ve had the CNC for four or five years now I had another spindle not not avid a Chinese spindle with tool change ability and I spent a lot of effort matching it to The avid system.
I have given up on any of the do-it-yourself stuff I purchased this spindle and the control package direct from avid and waited almost a year until the correct spindle was available. Meanwhile, I was using the machine with this spindle that I’m selling now so now I have the avid with all avid equipment. I have everything I need for automatic tool change, except the tool rack that avid is working on it will not be available till the end of the year and then I’ll have everything I want The bottom line is that I have the price of a 4 x 8 machine plus probably $10,000 for the spindle. I now have with the ATC ability ability, but I still have probably three Thousand more for their Rack

Thanks Ed - I’m located in Minnesota so a little far from you my friend. I’ve been on this forum for about a week and I’m coming from more bench top cnc’s like the onefinity. This is a great good of folks on this forum.
