I’m interested in picking one up but not at $165.
I have one that I will sell you. Just make me an offer and pay for the shipping.

I too, am looking to save a penny on a touch plate. Buying an RM70 recently kind of broke the bank for a little while here.

What kind are you looking for?
TBH, I don’t really know alot about them. I know I am going to need one though. I recently bought a FM70C kit from CNCDepot and am working on implementing it currently. From my understanding It is easier to setup your tools for the ATC with a touch plate. Do you or anyone have any advice on what direction to go or look?
I’m also looking for one if someone has one in good condition for a discounted price?
You specifically want a tool touch off plate, commonly called the “TT”, or a “tool sensor gauge”. These need to be a fixed location on your machine for repeatability; the avid’s one could work, but you would probably be better off getting another one that doesn’t require grounding. Avid’s is better for use as a traditional touch plate: finding the z-zero and x/y origin of a workpiece.
IE, this might work as a TT, but I’m not 100% sure. It is definitely cheap enough to try it out!
Thanks Corbin…the funny thing is I already one of those that I could keep from my onefinity that I’m selling.
