the tool release stopped working. Checked electric and air supply all good. White light on button is lit up. when I press the tool release button I do not hear any sound at all like the electric solenoid is trying to work. suggestions?
Be sure you have plenty of air to it. Sounds like the drawbar isn’t moving at all, which could mean you don’t have enough air.
If you do hear a click like the drawbar is moving you can press the button while tapping the tool LIGHTLY with a rubber mallet.
If that doesn’t work get in touch with support and they can help you out.
Plenty of air. removed air supply at spindle and it is getting all the way there. reg reads 110psi. when i hit the button there is absolutely no sound or click at all.
You can try spinning the tool by hand and see if that enables it. There’s a “spindle is spinning” sensor in there and EVERY now and then it can get stuck in a state where it’s triggered. Give that a shot, if not put in a ticket with the contact form up top and someone will get in touch with you to try and figure it out.
spinning by hand makes the white light on release button go off for a second then comes on when it finishes spinning so that part looks like its working fine. Calling support in the morning and will post fix when figured out. one thing to note is the m3 command and m15 command do not work either. m3 gives the spindle is about to start, then i hit enter and nothing happens. m15 says tool released, but no sound or click from solenoid.
one of the wires going into the solenoid came loose. easy fix.
