Av70s / ex controller new
Centroid thinks spindle is spinning, vfd thinks spindle is spinning.
spindle is not spinning!
replaced entire vfd cabinet and cables
Hooked up av40s and vfd box to the ex controller (all new cables, etc) to ex controller and exact same results.
I would typically only think this was a bad cable but guess not. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Looks like you have a support ticket open. I’ll get someone to respond through that channel so we can get this sorted.
Does the spindle move freely by hand? Does it make a humming sound (or any sound) when powered? Next step may be to measure the resistance across each of the three windings if all else seems normal.

For anyone curious: This was a bad spindle start solenoid. A rare occurrence but we got it sorted.
