Avid layout on Centroid acorn?

I bought an avid 4x8 table over 6 years ago. We only bought the table because we wanted to use our own electronics. including centroid acorn and clearpath motors.
I just saw avid uses acorn now. Seems to have it own overlay for the centroid software. Is this available to everyone? or does it only work this their system?
It seemed to have some layout and options that are better than my standard acorn pro layout.

Any help would be great. Thanks

Our version of CNC12 is available to anyone that wants to download it. What we have done is skin the interface and done a lot of custom macros and automation in the wizard to make things easier for users.

We’ve also left the “Centroid Stock” stuff available for anyone that wants to customize things.

There are two routes that folks using custom machines can go:

They can wire their machines to match our schematics: Schematics - EX Controller Technical Manual

If you follow our schematics when you set things up in “our” wizard all of the Centroid options are configured for you automatically.

If you want to wire your IO in your own way you’re free to do that, and use our UI and custom macros. You configure your IO in the “advanced” menu in the wizard.

You’re a little more on your own for software customizations however.

You can download our “profile manager” and CNC12 installations here:
