Has anyone integrated Lightburn to the centroid controller - are there any special G-Code scripts etc and is it straight forward?
Lightburn does not support the centroid controllers. It can be used to generate Gcode for them though. Its pretty straightforward.

Yes, I haven’t made any changes for 6 months. I have been busy lately and not a lot of playing with the the lasers.

Many thanks. I have found Vectric limiting re laser test paterns for calibrating output and also photocarve. Lightburn seems to have a lot more in these areas to offer.
You are correct. LIghtburn has a lot more in the way of test patterns built in. I still end up making my own most of the time because I am looking for specific things. However, LightBurn gives you control of things like the pixel width, and it makes a more accurate vector file than Vectric does.
For basic graphics, I like Vectric just because its the tool I use for all my spindle work too, so I can integrate everything. However, for detailed picture images, Lightburn is much better.
