I would like to install one of these. For those that have one can you post a picture showing how it is mounted. thanks bs

I use one of these: [image] Oxlasers 650nm Adjustable Red Cross Line Module for Positioning Crosshair... Wave Length: 650nm , Size: 80*21mm, big heatsink , long dutycycle, can work 5-6 hours constantly! Item comes with 5V DC adapter and a mount houlder! Line wideness adjustable! Workin…

That’s how I mounted mine. I went with a green one as I find those easier to see (and cooler looking). [IMG_1580] I use this ALL the time for non-precise origin setting.

Is that my model you printed or a riff on it (fine if it’s mine, I freely shared it here at some point)

It’s yours, printed using Tough 1500 on a Formlabs printer. Can’t remember if I had to tweak the diameter for this model – I think not but don’t really remember.

Look at you with your fancy printer! I did it on a Bambu using PETG

thanks eric, that is the model I bought. Where can I find your stl file?

[image] Laser Cross Hair Installation This is the Fusion file I created: You might want to use a STEP file if you’re printing on a Bambu printer. You’ll likely get better quality. You can create an STL from this file as well.

Darn I printed out that 3D model you had in f360 and it’s way too small to fit the laser diameter. I bought the exact laser that you show in your message. Guess I’ll have to learn fusion to enlarge that hole

You have to configure it as an Ox: [image] The diameter of the OX is around 22mm, you probably printed the 16.4 mm version
