Hi all, I am not a CNC expert so any help is greatly appreciated
currently, I have an avid 4896 with an EX controller. I mainly use it to process cabinet parts on sheet goods. I want to run at higher speeds, but I’m seeing substantial frame movement at 90° corners while cutting panels/parts. This is amplified when I have tenons on smaller stretchers.
Is there a way to have it slowed down more on 90° corners without sacrificing speed in the straight lines?
(I saw another post where somebody talked about a velocity setting? I have yet to touch any settings, still using Avid’s default)
