I have a 5x10 pro dual machine (plasma/router) that I converted to EX and was hoping I could find someone to help me get up to speed. Some background: I bought the machine in 2019 as a retirement side hustle. Got the plasma side working ( but not the router) and completed some projects, but was continually having problems with the torch height control. Avid tech support was helpful, but it finally became apparent a conversion to EX was necessary. I did the conversion and completed the dual z axis and mounted the router at the same time …..and then life got in the way and things stalled. I honestly have no idea where to pick up and start again. I still need to install all the software and configure everything. I know Avid will assist me, but sometimes the tech support seems to take days and with thus many questions they might get sick of me !!! At this point I’d like to just pay someone to hold my hand through the process so I can just get it done. I’d love to find someone close to do it in person, but understand some type of FaceTime calls would likely be easier. I’m not a completely cnc illiterate ( I did get the last version working) I just really feel like I need an EX knowledgeable person to help me for a few hours get a jump start.
I live near Boise ID, but like I said, FaceTime works as well.
