I’ve been messing around more and more with “adaptive clearing” in Fusion 360. Boy is it good for taking big bites out of material fast:
It also works well for smaller tools:

Always gives me a fright when it starts the adaptive clearing part - such a howl as it gets stuck in!
It does look nuts when you do it, but in reality it allows you to take a bigger, but more consistent bite out of the material. I’ve been really impressed with it.
