I just spent some time looking into Deskproto. They say they support 4 and 5 axis, but it looks to me like they really only let you use 3 axis at a time, the 4th and 5th are just indexing. I couldn’t find any examples of it actually using 4 or 5 axis simulatneously. So basically its not any bette…

I have done some aluminum machining on our machines and I find that Adaptive Clearing on Fusion 360 works great.

Fusion is also excellent for 4th axis work.

These were some quick demos I did a few weeks ago on a Benchtop Pro
