I am wanting to set up a WiFi camera to monitor my CNC progress during long run cycles. I have had some projects that run well into the evening hours. My shop is located across the road and less than 1/4 mile from my house. I have to make estimated guesses about when to check for tool changes or if the job is still running. Then it occurred to me that a remotely accessible camera would do the trick. I would like to get something that does not require a subscription. Has anyone done something like this.
I bought a Wyze camera that I’m planning to setup to monitor my cnc during longer programs while I’m in my house. It only cost $35 off amazon, and is free to use unless you want their cloud storage, which isn’t needed for live streaming or if you have a micro sd card installed. As long as your shop has wifi I’d look into them.

Also, consider baby monitors for this. There are far more babies than CNC machines so the selection might be better.
