Question for anyone in Canada who bought a CNC router. Do we need to get CSA certification for the machine?
Assuming you are a business, generally csa spe1000 field assessment is needed in pretty much all provinces in canada.other than that additional rules might apply.
Source: where i work (EU) i arrange the certification for our machines which go to canada. Spe1000 is pretty easy but will generally cost a few thousand to do. At times requires small modifications. Althrough it is quite aligned with ul electrical code
