I installed the Avid laser system to my EX servo machine a few months ago. Everything was installed right out of the box with no issues. I have a 5hp 60 gallon compressor supplying the air.
I’m currently running the Avid profile 5.24 r0 u1
I never really payed any attention to the low air icon on the screen, but it always says “air low” with a red pointer leaning to the left. I just figured this icon would turn red or something in low air conditions. I drained my air compressor tank last night and upon doing so I noticed the icon had changed to “air norm” and has a green pointer leaning right. Completely opposite of what it should be.
I had the warning in the Acorn Wizard set to “do nothing”. So I went in and changed it to “warn me” then restarted Acorn and CNC12. I drained the air off the system and got the warning in red on the screen and the air pressure icon was working properly, said low with no air, then air norm when I pressured it back up. Just for giggles I went back into the Wizard and changed it back to “do nothing”, restarted the systems, and the air pressure icon was reversed again saying low with air and norm without air.
Not really an issue, but thought I’d bring it to someones attention. I went back and turned “warn me” back on so that the icon was functioning properly.
