How to re-zero quickly?

Hello

I almost never use the touch plate…

What I do it just touch on top of the material zero and cut….but sometimes it does not cut all the way thru…lets say it still needs to cut 0.02”

I lower the z just about below the previous z0 and rezero again and cut.

Is there a faster way to re zero the 0.02” below the previous zero and not lower the z again.

There sure is:

Got to “Set Part Zeros>WCS Table” and find the Z measurement for your material. Just make that number smaller and it will cut deeper
