So I fixed the chuck jaw problem and now on calibrate for third time and when I get to the part to locate XYZ when probing the rod in the 4 jaw it never touched the rod, it acts like it a 2" piect of stock in the chuck. I went to wizard and the correct size for the cal rod it in there correctly (0.63)
solved, I did not insulate the rod from the chuck
