Recently I was doing an engrave that was very large and was going to take a long time. I needed to stop for a bit and be away from my machine. I wasnt sure how to do it and be able to start again where I had paused. So I tried tool check. It paused everything like you would expect and went back to the last line of code, but it did not turn the laser back on when it started exicuting again. Anyone have a way to do this that Im missing?
This is a known issue. The best way to pause a job is actually to stop it by using cycle stop.

yes, there’s no specific timeline for releasing this fix however. We’re all hands on deck with ATC at the moment.
However, stopping and resuming will work just fine. You can stop your job at anytime, even power off your machine and resume right where you left off at any time.
