Loss of Precision on the Right Side of CNC Table (EX Controller)

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering an issue with my CNC machine and could really use some advice.
I upgraded to the EX Controller a couple of days ago. The problem is that as I make cuts further to the right side of the table, I notice a significant loss in precision. Shapes become distorted, and dimensions are off.

I’ve already checked to ensure the table is square, and everything seems aligned. I cut the calibration project provided by Avid and I get exactly the same diagonals. However, the problem persists, and it’s affecting the accuracy of my work.

I cut two spoons, one on the left side of the table and one on the right. As you can see in the photos, the right-side cut turned out quite strange (circles not concentric, lines are not straight…):

Has anyone experienced something similar? This problem was not existing befor my migration to the EX Controller. I used this GCode many times before. Any troubleshooting tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Just for clarity, I tried to highlight some weird spots on the second picture:

I would get in touch with support on this. They have some troubleshooting steps you can go through.

Thanks, I’ll send an email then.

Support did not get back to me yet, but going through the troubleshooting guide, I found the issue.
The belt of the right pulley was dead. I checked each one of those belt while I was replacing the motors but apparently one died in the first cut.

I replaced the belt and now it’s spot on.

That’d do it for sure! Glad you found the issue.
