During the summer I had a few time during long cut that the spindle stopped moving and rpm’s reduced. There was a warning that popped up on the screen, I’ll post it, saying something about the stepper ran out of data. I reset and everything continues fine.
Last week I was cutting a vphoto which came out fine. I thought it could use just a bit more depth so i reprogrammed the file and started cutting. This time I got the stepper motor data pop up. I reset and tried again but just about the same area it stopped again. I reset and tried third time and still same pop up.
I reset and this time I loaded the original file which cut fine and this too stopped as the other in about the same area. Roughly 33000 lines into the run.
It is an older laptop so I thought to try a backup I have. I copied my entire mach3 folder and then installed it on the backup.
My problem is I forget how to get the stepper network programed on the backup laptop .
I don’t see instructions on the Avid cnc website
