No Z-axis cable track on Pro 4824?

I just acquired a 2019 used Pro 4824. In getting it set up, I realize that documentation and videos show a Z-axis cable track on those units, but mine does not have it. I have a standard 8" Z axis and run a 4 hp spindle. I’ll have overhead dust collection, if that matters.

Do I need to add the cable track? What are the risks if I run without it? TIA

Those are to keep your wires from damage and snagging on moving parts i would not go with out them .:blush:
