Trying to get my crosshair laser x,y settings to work, It say’s that the teaching was successful but does not seem to be working , Where can I see these offsets that are saved ?
in the Set Part Zeros menu they are right on screen near the bottom right I believe in a grayed out font.
So let me get this right, I move my spindle to a point on my spoil board then set x,y then I move my cross laser to that point and teach my laser , then it say’s successfull and stores those offsets
That’s it! the offsets will be show on that page. Then when you want to set XY with that laser, go back to that page, put the laser crosshair on whatever point you want to set and press the set button, now your XY zero for your spindle will be set to where your laser crosshair is
Still not working
Can you show me an image of your laser page where you set the offsets?
If it helps I did a YouTube video on my channel about this. It threw me for a loop at first but wasn’t hard once I found where to teach the offset.
Was it hard to put that on your MPG?
Not at all! That was a built in macro created by AVID You can select it in the centroid configuration area and assign it to any of the four macro buttons, under MPG You’ll have to restart your profile manager and possibly the control box if I remember correctly
So after teaching my laser I see the offsets in the bottom conner, Now I move my laser to the point I want my spindle to be 0 and hit the set button or set x,y button
Your laser is all set, you just need to press the SET button when the X or Y axis highlighted by clicking on each one.
It will set the axis to the offset of your laser. So when you press SET for X it will set it to 4.5602 (your offset)
When you go to X 0 your spindle will be where the laser crosshair in X
It’s working Thank’s guy’s
