I ran it through an online g code simulator and it placed the parts correctly relative to my origin point so it must be something in cnc 12 that is causing the shift…
You are correct, there was a high number for the Y axis. It was part of the g54 position i had set on my last project so for some reason when I went to use my touch plate to set a new home postion it did not overwrite the last one.
I just set all my columns to 0 in my WCS table and tried running the touch plate utility again and it doesn’t seam to update the position of part 0…. any ideas?
I’m probing for xyz at the lower left corner of my material and it appears to be erroring out after the final move in the y axis. I’m getting the following message:
I set the front of my sheet stock 1/4” to far in the Y- direction so when the touch plate utility was complete the machine tried to move to xy zero it errored out. Dumb mistake but i guess most mistakes are in hindsight, anyways, thank you for the help on a saterday.
