I have just upgraded to the EX controller, the AV70 spindle and servo motors. I am getting a “Z axis work envelope exeeded” error in cnc12 and I do not understand why. My Aspire job uses “Material Surface” as the Z zero. I have “Prevent spoilboard dig in” enabled and set to zero. Attached is a screenshot showing the error and the G-code that was being executed when the error occurred. This was part of a drilling operation and It was going to a Z depth of 0.8906. Which is the thickness of my material.
I tried again going slightly less deep than that and got the same error. Any ideas?
I have mine set for .01 and it doesn’t leave a mark on the spoil board I can’t explain why when you changed the depth it didn’t run unless you had another operation on there that did
I changed the spoilboard dig in from 0 to .05 and that took care of it. I might reduce it further.
