8075 Warning: Tool Touch Off Tripped

Hello.

I have just finished building a new Pro 4896. I have finished the initial steps of setting up CNC12 to operate the machine. When attempting to move the gantry for the first time, I get 8075 Warning: Tool Touch Off Tripped. I can hear the servo attempting to move resulting in a quiet clunk but noting happens. I have checked all the sensors to be sure they are not triggered by any metal and they all seem to be clear, but the machine still will not move. Any help solving this issue would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Mike

Sounds like your tool height setter is either stuck, or not plugged in (or not plugged into the right port)

I’d also check to make sure that your mobile touch plate’s magnet is not connected to it

Thank you for the feedback.

I did previously make sure that the Touch Plate Magnet was not in contact with anything metallic. I have moved the gantry around manually and reset the system several times with no result.

Which aux port should the tool height setter on a CNC12 machine be plugged into and similarly, what is the correct port to plug in the Touch Plate? The Touch Plate is currently plugged into Aux4. I had unplugged the Hight Setter to see if that would help but had no results.

Pick from a week ago prior to finishing the assembly.

You also want to make sure the touch plate isn’t touching anything metal on the machine or it will ready triggered as well.

The tool height setter must be plugged in at all times, it’s a normally closed connection so if it’s not connected the machine (as you are currently seeing) won’t function.

It seems that we have solved my issue.

Thank you for the help…

You’re welcome!

I like your setup and you planted it right between the two windows
