Tool touch off tripped. Nothing works after upgrade to EX controller

I just upgraded to EX controller. I have AVID CNC pro with 5 axis and rotary axis.
Unable to solve this tool touch off tripped message .
All the sensors test out ok.
Tuch plate sensor ok.
Tools touch off tripped and will not respond.
I am struck. Need help please.

If you’re talking about the tool height setter that is on a normally closed input, so if it’s reading as constantly tripped and preventing the machine from doing anything you may not have it plugged into the correct input

Or, if you’re talking about the Auto Z touchplate from Avid, CNC12 is always reading it, so if the magnet is sticking to the touch plate, it will read as tripped. In Mach4 I think it only read when the touchplate utility was running. I used to set mine aside with the magnet on the metal plate, but since upgrading to the EX Controller I have to make sure the magnet isn’t touching it when stored.

Hope this helps,
Garth

Thank you for the reply. I did correctly connect to the proper input and it worked. I learnt the lesson that it pays to read the instruction.
Best regards

Glad you got it sorted! happy machining!

Thank you so much for prompt reply over the July 4th holiday.
