Avid Optional Relay Module

I purchased the relay module from Avid to add to my machine to control dust collection and a vacuum pump. The relay works well from the buttons on the screen and also mapping them to the macro buttons on the pendant.

I have them both set up as manual so I have to click something to turn them on or off. I noticed however that they cannot be activated or de-activated while the machine is running a job. Not a big problem, but I was wondering if there is a way to make them work independently so they could be toggled during an active operation?

As of right now there isn’t a way to do that. We are working on adding that functionality though.

Did you see that you can automate when they come on and off in the wizard?

I did see that, but didn’t want to go back to the wizard every time I wanted to change it, so I left it manual.
