In a marketing video from AVID, an engineer had a CAD model of a machine pulled up on his computer. Couldn’t quite tell what software. Does anyone know if AVID provides CAD models of their machines to help us built aftermarket parts (e.g. auto tool change racks, dust boots, etc.)?

We’ve been known to do this in the past. We don’t publish them for download however. I believe if you contact support they can help you out.

When I inquired about a model, they sent me a zipped step file. You should be able to import into most main stream cad platforms. Model came in handy for modifications and shop layout.
