Having some issues with the Pendant MPG and Z axis

I have been going through the upgrade process getting the new EX controller installed on a PRO4896. I am to the point where the machine is powered on and I can move the X and Y axis. The Z axis motor shows good indicator lights at the Ex controller. Green lights on the motor but the Z wont move when commanded. The DRO values change when giving the command to move? I took the z axis off for another issue and tried it without the brake attached and got the same result.

Also having a issue with the pendant MPG. Spinning the MPG will move the gantry when in 1x. CNC12 shows it in incremental mode at 1x but when switched to 10x or 100x the MPG will do nothing and indicates is in continues mode.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I would get in touch with support about this. If I had to guess from here it sounds like you might not have the Wizard configured correctly. Make sure you have servo motors picked in the drop down list there.

Also make sure you have your VFD programmed properly.

If those things aren’t correct that would explain why the pendant is behaving the way it is.
