Any ETA? Hurry up and take my money! LOL
Give support a call/email. They can get you ordering information.
for the 40S ? I thought that wasnt out yet. I dont see it on the website.
It’s not, that’s why I said to give support a call. They may have some additional information that might interest you that’s not being shared widely yet
Just sent an email! Thanks!
You can pre-order one. I ordered mine a couple weeks ago. Will ship when all the parts are in.
Emailed support for a quote. How is the ATC development going? Any tidbits, like how many tools will be held?
I can’t share a whole lot yet, but I will say this: We’re doing lots of design, ordering lots of prototype parts, and experimenting with a lot of things.
This is shaping up to be a VERY good ATC system with a lot of redundancy/automation you don’t see in other systems. We’ll have more to share soon!
Do you need compressed air right away to run this spindle, or can you add compressed air later if you decide to take advantage of the automatic tool changing features?
All of the info you’ll need is here:
The AV40 is essentially the same as the 70, it’s just got a smaller electric motor in it.
Hi Eric,
One thing I can’t seem to find in any of the AVxxS documentation is the pinout and specs for the two electrical connectors. Seems like all the other info is there on both of the new spindles.
Ha, I was looking in the .pdfs a the top and didn’t scroll down
Thank!
For anyone else reading:
You can now add AV40 and 70 spindles to your cart (RFQ) on the website and with a machine now.
We have limited stock but we’re getting more of the 40s each day.
Eric, there’s an 8-pin M12 connector that seems to take power to the spindle currently but doesn’t connect into the EX box. Is that eventually going to connect to the EX controller once the full ATC is ready to go?
Yes, on full ATC systems we’ll send 24 volts out there without requiring a wall adapter.
Excellent! Super excited for the full kit and kaboodle!
