Just wanted to document how I installed this in case it’s useful for others. I got the Lube Cube with the container compatible with isopropyl alcohol. The first step was getting the spray nozzle attached, which comes with a magnetic switch bade. My machine didn’t have any steel in the right spots, so I added an angle bracket right above the spindle.
I mounted the canister on the Y carriage and ran the lines to the mister through the Z-axis cable trays. I purchased a 20 ft line of 1/4" OD clear PVC tube and ran that though the other cable trays from the canister to the air switch. The only other item I needed was an adapter to go from the clear tubing to a air hose connector.
You can unthread the articulating arm from the black magnet base and screw it right into one of those pre threaded holes on the x carriage without any modification. It makes it super clean!
Also, I bent the bracket for the coolant reservoir flat and the mounting hole matched perfectly with slots in the gantry so I mounted the reservoir at the end of the gantry.
I guess I lied, if you flip the bracket over, the holes line up with the fasteners in the 1/2" aluminum plate at the end of the gantry. Take out the to fasteners circled in red in my previous post and install the reservoir bracket.
