I received my upgrade kit for my 5x10 Pro CNC. I am upgrading to the EX-Controller, the AV70 ATC spindle, Servo Motors, and the ATC rack. I am currently at this section in the instructions where it has me “Remove the sensor flags from the M8 x 30mm Fine Pitch Socket Head Cap Screw.” I do not see anywhere where it has me reinstall the silver sensor flag, although it does have me reinstall the Fine Pitch Socket Head Cap Screw and jam nut. Am I missing something, or do I really not re-install the sensor flag?
No sensor flags
That’s not entirely true. You re-use parts of the sensor flags for initial servo homing before hard stop homing:
Thanks! I was really only concerned about the silver knurled nut that goes on the end of the sensor flag. But, I see from the video you provided, it is not there, so that definitively answers my question.
