Surfacing a Cylinder Head

Last week someone recommended the Slab Slayer bit, and I ordered one because the replacement cutters on my Amana RC-2263 are very expensive and the Slab Slayer replacements are much cheaper.

It arrived today, and I so happened to have a warped aluminum cylinder head that I was working on so I figured I’d see how this bit works for surfacing aluminum. It works great.

I have been running this bit for a year, love it! Does a great job with figured wood.

This bit is on my list…I ordered some RIP cnc 1/4" flute bit for alum and actually cutting right now :smiley:
