What are you using? If not, why not?
I don’t have anything for the spindle but I have a UPS for the ESS. Interested to know if there is anything reasonable other than a ‘whole house’ surge protector at the panel.
I don’t because our electricity here (Phoenix area) is very reliable, and we hardly ever get storms that affect power.
My machine is in Houston; a heat island adjacent the Gulf, the city acts as a thunderstorm factory, with lightning strikes common. For half the year, irrespective of regional weather fronts, Houston will manifest its own thunderstorms with great regularity.
